Sustainability

Going green makes good business sense helping to reduce waste and encourages recycling.

Wodehouse are fully committed to reducing the impact our company has on the environment, this includes identifying all aspects of modern business processes, including measuring and monitoring, providing solutions to reduce negative impacts and a commitment to continually improve environmental performance. We promote our environmental ethos and policies internally to our clients’ suppliers, and partners. We take our responsibilities seriously.

We want to play our part in protecting our planet, we also know that it’s good business logic. Our environmental policies work because we use fewer resources which equals less waste and as a result, we keep our prices competitive while consistently improving our efficiency.

Sustainability in printing is defined by the social, environmental and resource responsible practices, that are used to meet society’s current needs and expectations, whilst providing the requirements and better outcomes for future generations. We are committed to sourcing print using recycled paper, or paper supplied from sustainable forests, where possible.

We are passionate about the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) and aim to reduce our carbon footprint, while similarly addressing environmental issues. Our associated printing partners are specially selected for their commitments to waste reduction policies, the recycling of waste material from paper, and through using vegetable-based inks..
